Located in a prime position in Regard-sur-le-fleuve park in Sorel-Tracy, the Biophare offers exhibitions, activities, cultural events, and guided tours that allow you to discover, in a surprising and original way, the multiple heritage dimensions of the Lake Saint-Pierre region. From one room to another, visitors are transported into a fascinating universe that juxtaposes nature and culture. In 2000, UNESCO recognized the territory as the Lake Saint-Pierre biosphere reserve due to its high biodiversity and the efforts made by communities to preserve and conserve this unique ecosystem.
