Auberge de l'Orpailleur
Former boarding house that welcomed minors from Europe, the Auberge de l'Orpailleur brings you back to the atmosphere of the gold rush in Abitibi. It is an integral part of the historic mining village of Bourlamaque, a unique site in Quebec, made up of 60 remarkably preserved log cabins. You can walk to the Cité de l'Or, a former mine converted into a tourist site (reduction for Auberge customers). Hearty and varied homemade breakfasts. Snowmobile, snowshoe, dog sled, canoe-camping and trekking packages.
