Centre d'interprétation en foresterie

The Forestry Interpretation Centre was built following La Sarre's designation as "Forestry Capital of Canada" in 1989. A free permanent exhibition explores the region's history through forestry, geography and archaeology! On display are a collection of period forestry tools, native artifacts and some of the models from Eddyenne Rodrigue's "Hommage à notre histoire" exhibition. The Forestry Interpretation Centre is currently renewing its exhibition. Audio capsules provide an animated tour. They can be found using the QR codes affixed to each of the exhibition showcases.
