Day of the Dead celebration

The Day of the Dead is a tradition celebrated mainly in Mexico in which dead friends and family members are commemorated with colorful offerings. As a promoter of Mexican culture, UNAM-Canada is pleased to invite you to visit the Day of the Dead Altar, presented by the students and teachers of the Modern American School in Mexico City, in collaboration with the City of Gatineau and the Mexican Embassy in Canada. Celebrate this tradition at Gatineau City Hall and enjoy activities that are free for children and the whole family, altar tours, workshops and much more.
