La Forge à Pique-Assaut - Blacksmithing Economuseum
La Forge à Pique-Assaut is located in Saint-Laurent-de-l'Île-d'Orléans, 20 minutes from downtown Quebec City, in an area classified as historic. La Forge à Pique-Assaut combines a workshop, a boutique and an economuseum under one roof, and specializes in custom-made architectural, stylistic and creative ironwork, including stair railings, fences, gates, cornices, finials, weathervanes, furniture, fireplace accessories, antique hardware, decorative and/or utilitarian objects, thematic sculptures and more. All this work is carried out using traditional fire-burning techniques.
